Ingleside Fishing Charter

Sport fishing enables avid anglers to enjoy a thrilling experience in catching some of the most exotic of fish species. However, most people are not completely experienced in water regions that are abundant in fish and this is where hiring a fishing charter can make a difference. They offer a unique lifetime of experience that most individuals can’t achieve. Charter trips can take vacationers across to exciting water regions where they will find not only an abundance of fish but the fish they were wanting to catch.

Dolphin Connection Ingleside

Dolphin Connection Ingleside provides a unique opportunity to see bottlenose dolphins in the wild. Throughout the tour pods of curious bottlenose dolphins appear and inspect our craft giving everyone a chance to capture memories.
Tours depart from the Ingleside Cove and explore the Corpus Christi Channel.

Ingleside Skate Park

The Skate Park is the heart of N.O. Simmons Park. The 15,000 square foot, lighted, concrete park has been described by pro skaters as one of the best public skating parks in the state of Texas. The Skate Park is free to the public and it’s open from dawn until 10:00 p.m. every day. The entire skating area is fenced for protection of the skaters and spectators alike.

Ingleside Golf Club

Located in Historic Chester County, Ingleside Golf Club is an “old school” golf course. Challenge your shot-making through the rolling hills located on President Buchanan’s country estate. Experience excellent conditions, friendly staff and no pace of play problems as you enjoy golf as it should be. We are right off of the 30 bypass at the Thorndale exit.

Ingleside Vineyards

Opening in 1980, under the direction of Doug Flemer, Ingleside Vineyards is one of Virginia’s oldest and largest wineries and produces over 18 types of wine from its estate-grown grapes. For over thirty-five years, our hand-crafted wines have won numerous awards and top honors in state, national and international wine competitions, such as the London International Wine & Spirits Competition, the San Francisco International Wine Competition and the Virginia Governor’s Cup Competition.

Live Oak Park

Live Oak Park is set on approximately 90 beautiful oak covered acres in South Ingleside. In this park one will find many fun, family oriented and athletic activities to do. Nestled among large live oaks you can enjoy a picnic with your family and friends, or cook at one of several barbecue pits scattered around the park. There are many picnic tables available for use and several secluded picnicking areas. The park also offers some covered picnic areas.

Whitney Lake

The Whitney Lake is open to the public and free of charge. What began as a drainage project has evolved into a nature lovers’ dream come true. The City acquired 70 acres of land that are protected wetlands and upland buffer areas within the Lake Whitney and McCampbell Slough area of Live Oak Peninsula to provide a public recreation and education access area. The watershed, which drains into Port Bay in the Copano Bay System, is approximately 3.3 miles downstream and is extremely diverse, containing freshwater wetlands, brackish marsh, salt marsh and tidal flats.
