Spacious RV resort with lots of onsite amenities including swimming pool, hot tub, 24 hr laundry and fitness center, pickleball, and shuffleboard. The dog park is huge and has a separate space for large and small breeds. We love the catch and release fishing ponds as well as concrete spacious sites. Planned activities are scheduled monthly with more availability during the winter months including bingo, fitness classes, gameplay and live music on occasion. 2 playgrounds for young children.
This is our second stay here, once with a group of kids from work, and once with just us. Both stays were amazing! The sites are spacious, and the entire property is clean, and well kept. The pool and hot tub are the nicest I've ever experienced at an RV park. It's quiet and relaxing.
We had a major power outage that ended up lasting a while in the summer heat, and I just wanted to thank the team at Southern Oaks for their responsiveness and support throughout the situation. Even before they’re office was open, they took the time to answer our call, listen to our concerns, and help us troubleshoot what might have been causing the issue.
They stayed in contact with us, kept us updated as much as they could, and genuinely cared about making sure we were okay while everything was being worked on.
It’s reassuring to know that management is willing to be available and helpful during unexpected emergencies. We really appreciate the time, communication, and professionalism they showed. Thank you for going above and beyond!

We loved this place! It’s conveniently located near several Gulf cities, including
Aransas Pass, Port Aransas, Rockport, Fulton and Corpus Christi. The campsites are spacious, the clubhouse is lovely and the saltwater pool and hot tub are luxurious. The staff is very accommodating and does their best to handle any issues that arise. Another family member who is a full time RVer wintered here too and he said this is the best park they’ve ever stayed in. We would definitely recommend and will be back again!
