Second winter here. Great place, friendly winter Texans, nice amenities and close to shopping, restaurants and easy beach access.
Great RV Resort. We've wintered there for the past 3 winters and made lifelong friends.
This is our second Winter Texas year at Southern Oaks. We are extremely pleased with the staff and management. Pat Roberts does an amazing job taking care of the park and making sure there is satisfying activities for us during the winter. The facilities are the nicest and most complete we have found in the Rockport - Aransas Pass area. We love it and will be back this next fall.
What a gem! Large level sites with tables, green spaces and hooks ups, wifi availability. Palm trees, live oaks, 4 catch and release ponds with lots of local wildlife. Very well maintained, green spaces groomed with lots of amenities, walking and biking paths, courts for pickleball, and shuffle board. Club house with kitchen and game room centrally located adjacent to laundry and heated pool and spa. Located in Aransas Pass with less than 15 min ride to ferry for Port Aransas. Between Ingleside and Rockport. Gotta say....other RV parks should take a page from this place.
