On our Sunday, we organized a brunch potluck at the clubhouse. I made quiche Lorraine, my spouse whipped up pancakes, someone else made fruit salad, and a neighbor brought biscuits and gravy.

While brunch simmered, kids and adults fished in the pond; seniors walked the trails. After eating, we played a slow round of Bingo, then a live guitar set.

Later, some campers went in a small convoy to Port Aransas for afternoon beach time. We returned for sunset and agreed to repeat brunch the next Sunday — a tradition in the making.
